About me

I am Zulekha Rajani, a Counselling Psychologist based in Bangalore, India.

My commitment to the field of psychology spans years, with a focus on counselling, teaching, and advocating for mental health. Presently, I serve as a Counselling Psychologist at Mind and Brain Hospital, where I bring a blend of compassion, spirituality, and evidence-based practices to support individuals on their mental health journey.

Education

I hold a graduate degree in Psychology, Journalism, and Literature from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. I have a B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) from Bangalore University.

I have a postgraduate degree in MSc Psychology from Bangalore University and a Diploma in Islamic Psychology from Cambridge Muslim College, UK.

International Engagement

My passion for fostering a global understanding of psychology is reflected in my role as the Head of the Indian Chapter at the International Students of Islamic Psychology (ISIP). This involvement allows me to contribute to the international discourse on the intersection of psychology and cultural nuances.

Contributing to Mental Health Discourse

I am not just a practitioner but also a researcher and writer. I regularly share my insights through articles in reputable publications like The Cognate, The Quint, Scroll.in, Maktoob Media, and IOU Insights Magazine. These articles delve into critical topics, such as workplace burnout, mental health leaves, and the intersection of spirituality with mental well-being.
